The Telegraph Festival of Education brings together the very best of education’s most forward thinking advocates, practitioners of change, policy makers and educators in one of the leading forums for thought leadership, CPD and debate.


We quickly set about creating a cross platform social media strategy, which brought together key speakers, sponsors, customers and potential customers. The results? Well, let’s just say the client was very happy…

    • #EducationFest trended UK wide, holding the No.2 spot all day, on the first day of the festival. The hashtag also trended No.1 in South East, UK.


    • 500,000 + impressions generated from Twitter, Facebook and Periscope.


    • 7,138 engagements, with Twitter seeing 1,000+ more engagements than the previous year.


    • 981 new Twitter followers, taking the total over the 13,000 mark. This was a 32.4% increase when compared with the previous year.


    • Over the 14 days around the Festival, the below terms reached over 2.5 million Twitter users. #EducationFest, #amandaspielman, @educationfest &
